I was sick of needing to use password rooms and tell people passwords all the time it was really annoying.

This app (currently) allows you to just run a hidden cam and add / remove users so you can ditch password room junk. It is designed for regular users and does not incorporate any tip related mechanics as I don't require that.

It uses the limiting api, if you add users and dont remove them then they can freely access the camera until they are either removed or until you stop the limiting which obviously just means the camera is open. IF you start it again without removing, resetting or clearing the users then the previously added users should remain.

Commands

Only the broadcaster can use or see the output of these commands

• /start [users] - Start the limited broadcast with optional comma separated users e.g. /start userperson1, otheruser


• /stop - Stops the limited broadcast


• /add [users] - Add a comma separated set of usernames to the broadcast e.g. /add userperson1


• /remove [users] - Remove a comma separated set of usernames from the broadcast e.g. /remove userperson1


• /reset - Removes all users and stops limiting


• /clear - Clears the current user access list


• /status - Output the current status

App Settings

These are the settings on the 'Start App' page

• Cam Message - The message that is displayed on the screen under 'Cam is Hidden'


• Automatically Hidden - The cam is hidden on broadcast or app start


• Colourize Whitelisted Entries - Broadcaster recieves green BG notice when allowed user enters


• Colourize Whitelisted Messages - Whitelisted users have a green BG on their messages


• PM Messaging Only - Messages are not shown to others and a notice is displayed

Known Issues

Autostart:
Currently there is no easy way to determine when broadcasting if the app is started after the broadcast has started. This causes an issue because the limit api will start but does not function unless broadcasting so it would need to be restarted.

Resolution:
- If you want to start the app when already broadcasting, you will want to /stop and /start to get it limiting OR
- If you restart the the broadcast when the autostart option is selected if will also start limiting
